Monica Rambeau is a fictional character and superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Initially known as Captain Marvel, the character joined and eventually became leader of the Avengers for a time. She later used the codenames Photon, Pulsar, and beginning in 2013, Spectrum.

The character makes her cinematic debut in Captain Marvel played by Akira Akbar.
